Encounter of Oregon conducts marriage preparation activities
faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
The encounter is an in-depth
pre-marriage preparation experience within the context of Catholic faith
and values. The presenting team on an encounter consists usually of two
married couples and a priest.
Although the weekends are
Catholic in orientation, couples of other faiths are welcome to attend.
In addition, you do not have to be engaged to attend one of our
weekends--dating or recently married couples also gain from our
weekends.
Our weekend retreats are held
Friday night until Sunday mid-day at retreat centers in the
greater-Portland area.
